Welcome back to MSSU! Whether you took off one semester or a couple years, we are excited you chose to come back to the Pride. We have over 140 degree options available for you to complete a degree or obtain a new one. Here is some important information to make the process of getting readmitted a smooth one.
Readmit Admissions Requirements
- Application for Admission
- Be in good standing at the Univeristy.
- GPA of 2.0 or higher.

- Official transcripts for any institution attended since MSSU.
- **ACT not required for admissions but may be requested when enrolling in classes to assist with placement.
Dates and Deadlines
Spring Semester Deadlines
January 26 100% of student account balance paid or payment plan created by 5 pm
January 27 Students will be dropped from courses for non-attendance/non-participation
January 28 Last day to withdraw with full refund
January 28 Late enrollment and add/drop costs now apply to schedule changes
February 9 Last day to withdraw with 50% Refund
May 2 Last day to withdraw from courses (Visit the Registrar's Office for drop forms)

January 18 Classes begin
January 17 Campus will be closed for MLK Day
March 21-25 Campus will be closed for Spring Break
May 6 Last day of Spring classes
May 9-12 Week of final examinations
May 12 Spring semester 2022 officially ends
