What are Discovery Days?
Come discover why Missouri Southern is right for you!
Discovery Days at Missouri Southern allow students to explore their program of interest in an immersive, one-on-one environment. Students will receive a presentation regarding the admissions and financial aid process before diving into departmental break-out sessions, presentations, and tours.
Lunch will be provided.
What do I need to bring?
Students will be given a campus tour and should wear comfortable shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather that day.
When can I attend?
The following sessions are available for Fall 2022.
Criminal Justice Discovery Day
October 7th from 10:00am - 12:00pm
STEM Discovery Day
October 7th from 9:30am - 1:30pm
Honors Discovery Day
October 14th from 9:00am - 3:00pm
Honors Requirements
Freshman:
- An ACT composite score of 28 or above OR an SAT score (CR + M) of 1300 or above
- Be in the top 10% of your high school class
- A GPA of at least 3.7 (on a 4.0 scale) in high school coursework
Transfer:
- Left your previous institution with a 3.5 GPA or higher.
Teacher Education Discovery Day
October 26th from 9:30am - 1:30pm
Fine and Performing Arts Discovery Day
October 28th from 9:00am - 1:00pm
